Sonny joined KC&A in 2023 with more than 10 years of communications experience in diverse sectors. 

In 2014 he was awarded a fellowship from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). During that time, he assisted in overseeing marketing campaigns, as well as disseminating material to national and international media, health professionals, and the general public.  While at the CDC he was awarded the Excellence in Communication and Most Innovative Communicators honor awards. 

In more recent years, he has gained a multitude of insights from operating a successful 70-year-old family business in Anniston, Alabama.

Sonny earned the rank of Eagle Scout and is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in Communication Studies. He currently lives in Birmingham, Alabama.
